COVID-19 Alert

CFD`s primary concern is the health and safety of its staff, faculty and community as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation. After much consultation and on the advice of our federal and provincial governments, we have made the difficult but important decision to postpone all in person programming until further notice.

We are continuing to host our BPER rounds virtually and are accepting registrations for our fall programs.

We will continue to keep you updated as we navigate this uncertain time.

CFD is pleased to share a list of resources for virtual teaching and learning. This list includes quick tips and technological tools to get started with virtual teaching and education. Virtual Teaching & Learning

The Centre for Faculty Development engages in collaborative work to support Career Development and Faculty Health and Wellness in different ways. This includes:

  • advocating for activities that promote career development, mentoring and faculty health and wellness
  • providing initial consultation to individuals and groups interested in developing career development and mentoring programs and resources for their faculty and staff
  • extended consultations and service agreements where the CFD will co-plan, co-facilitate and support the development, delivery and evaluation of faculty development sessions in departments, hospitals and programs

If you are interested in learning more about how the CFD can work with you to provide programming and consultation targeting your organization's career development and mentoring needs, please contact:
