TEACHING AND EDUCATION

COVID-19 Alert

CFD`s primary concern is the health and safety of its staff, faculty and community as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation. After much consultation and on the advice of our federal and provincial governments, we have made the difficult but important decision to postpone all in person programming until further notice.

We are continuing to host our BPER rounds virtually and are accepting registrations for our fall programs.

We will continue to keep you updated as we navigate this uncertain time.

CFD is pleased to share a list of resources for virtual teaching and learning. This list includes quick tips and technological tools to get started with virtual teaching and education. Virtual Teaching & Learning

COLLABORATIONS

The Centre for Faculty Development engages in collaborative work in many different ways. This work spans the continuum of:

  • providing advocacy for activities that promote teaching and learning
  • providing 'one-off' consultations with individuals and groups interested in developing faculty development programs and resources to their constituencies
  • extended consultations and service agreements where the CFD will co-plan, co-facilitate and support the development, delivery and evaluation of faculty development in departments, hospitals and programs

Examples of this work include partnering to offer Workshops, the Stepping Stones Teacher Development Program, and the Teaching for Learning and Collaboration Program onsite for various hospitals and university departments.

If you are interested in learning more about how the CFD can work with you to provide programming and consultation targeting your organization's teaching needs, please contact:
