Teaching 101 – Part 2

 **This is a 2 part workshop. You MUST attend Part 1 on October 24, 2017 in order to register for this session. You will be un-enrolled if you have not yet taken Part 1**

An introductory pair of workshops, these sessions are designed to increase teachers' effectiveness and efficiency. Basic best-evidence-based principles and theories of health profession education will be presented. Practical approaches and strategies for immediate use will be discussed. Topics will include: education theory, small group teaching, giving feedback, evaluation, and teaching professionalism.

Following this workshop, participants will:

  1. Be able to describe new / personal teaching strategy
  2. Be able to define a set of personal principles for effective and efficient teaching
  3. Be enthusiastic about teaching
  4. Feel motivated to teach
